Sky Li, Managing Director of 99P Recycling, took a business trip to China

Sky Li, Managing Director of 99P Recycling, embarked on his business trip to China in June 2018 to seek cooperation opportunities for the new online trading platform, which is named 99 Plas.

The first stop was Beijing, where Sky Li met with the chairman of China Scrap Plastics Association. China Scrap Plastics Association is the sponsor of the Chinareplas exhibition, which has great influence in the Chinese recycling market. During the meeting, they discussed the operation strategy in the Chinese market for 99 Plas. After fully understanding the concept and services of the platform, the chairman of the association highly praised it and agreed with its positive influence of the whole plastic industry. He also expressed his enthusiasm to have a further collaboration with 99P Recycling regarding this project.

Sky then went onto Tianjin and Shanghai to visit existing customers and potential investors and traveled to Chongqing, where the 99p’s IT department is located. The team is now concentrating on the development of 99 Plas. Sky Li comprehensively introduced them the background, opportunity and significance of this project.

The 99 Plas platform is the main project that 99P Recycling is now focusing on. It is designed to serve all the players within the plastic recycling industry on two concepts, “environmentally friendly” and “online trading”. These two concepts are aimed to bring the whole industry together and stimulate the development of the industry. Through this trip to China, Sky encouraged the IT team and drove their passion and efficiency in work. Additionally, this trip also bolsters a further collaboration plan and facilitates the development of the 99 Plas platform.

Sky received lots of positive feedback and valuable advice on the 99 Plas online trading platform thus ensuring that the platform is a new direction for materials trading around the world.
